(unframed print, 13 in. wide x 19 in. high)
$100 from each sale will be donated to WYSO 91.3, the Yellow Springs NPR affiliate, in support of the important community and reporting work the station produces every day.
Art description: A system of domestic accumulation, these stamps transformed routine purchases into incremental rewards. Collected, licked, and affixed into booklets, they required patience and repetition, turning daily consumption into a slow-building archive of value. Redemption depended on volume, encouraging long-term participation in a feedback loop between household spending and aspirational goods. The process was as significant as the outcome, embedding ritual into everyday life. These stamps framed consumption as a tangible progression, where economic activity left behind a visible, countable residue of small, green increments.
Print runs for this exhibit are limited to 5 each, hand-signed, numbered, and stamp-authenticated by the artist. Works are printed on 13”x19” or 19”x13” 100% cotton rag with deckled and torn edges, using a 6-color, high resolution inkjet process. Print is mailed in a protective mailing tube, and comes with an identification tag as presented during the exhibit. Shipping and sales tax included in print price. Image shown at left is from original digital file, not from actual print.
