(unframed print, 13 in. wide x 19 in. high)
$100 from each sale will be donated to WYSO 91.3, the Yellow Springs NPR affiliate, in support of the important community and reporting work the station produces every day.
Art description: A physical record of labor, the time card translated hours worked into a structured, verifiable format. Inserted into a clock and stamped with force, it marked the boundaries of a shift with mechanical precision. The resulting grid of times served as both documentation and discipline, aligning human activity with industrial schedules. Its authority came from its tangibility—ink impressed into card stock as proof of presence. The ritual of punching in and out reinforced a shared temporal order, where work was measured not abstractly, but through repeated, audible acts.
Print runs for this exhibit are limited to 5 each, hand-signed, numbered, and stamp-authenticated by the artist. Works are printed on 13”x19” or 19”x13” 100% cotton rag with deckled and torn edges, using a 6-color, high resolution inkjet process. Print is mailed in a protective mailing tube, and comes with an identification tag as presented during the exhibit. Shipping and sales tax included in print price. Image shown at left is from original digital file, not from actual print.
