Art description: A modular unit of professional memory, the Rolodex card stored names, numbers, and notes within a rotating desktop system. Each entry was individually typed or handwritten, allowing for updates, annotations, and personalized organization. The act of flipping through cards created a tactile interface for networking, where relationships were maintained through physical maintenance and recall. As digital contact lists absorbed this function, the Rolodex card remains a symbol of analog connectivity, where information management was inseparable from touch and routine.
Print runs for this exhibit are limited to 5 each, hand-signed, numbered, and stamp-authenticated by the artist. Works are printed on 13”x19” or 19”x13” 100% cotton rag with deckled and torn edges, using a 6-color, high resolution inkjet process. Print is mailed in a protective mailing tube, and comes with an identification tag as presented during the exhibit. Shipping and sales tax included in print price.
