Art description: A paper record of missed communication, typically rendered in pink to demand attention. These slips documented calls that could not be completed, capturing names, numbers, and urgency through checkboxes and hurried handwriting. They reflect a time when communication required simultaneous presence, and absence generated physical artifacts. The form imposed structure on interruption, translating fleeting attempts at contact into persistent reminders. They served as analog notifications, stacking into visible evidence of ongoing activity beyond one’s immediate awareness.
Print runs for this exhibit are limited to 5 each, hand-signed, numbered, and stamp-authenticated by the artist. Works are printed on 13”x19” or 19”x13” 100% cotton rag with deckled and torn edges, using a 6-color, high resolution inkjet process. Print is mailed in a protective mailing tube, and comes with an identification tag as presented during the exhibit. Shipping and sales tax included in print price.
